Small row of screen unresponsive?
I have an LG G2. It works great.
Yesterday I noticed some weird behavior. The screen was finicky and hard to use. (I noticed it while playing Candy Crush—I couldn't switch certain candies in an area... LOL). The screen is not cracked or anything. The picture looks perfect...
I decided to open up an app where I could draw, and it turns out that I can't get any input on a perfect row about an inch or so from the top of the screen. The row is about half an inch thick and runs all the way from one side to another. I can color the whole screen, but it's perfectly blank on that one row.
I did some research and figured it might be some loose connector with the digitizer. Is this possibly an easy fix?
Thanks!!!

I have the same exact issue, but the phone tells me the LCD is damaged.
Have you resolved the issue? As I have seen, LCDs are around 90 dollars, so I might as well just pay the deductible for my phones insurance.
I do have a crack on my screen, but the crack is no where near the screen is unresponsive.

90 dollars its less than the price of the screen of iphone 5

I have the same issue but no warranty. Is it possible to fix or do I have to replace the screen. I can replace the screen ( digitizer and llcd) for about 80 dollars but if it's just a loose cable id rather just get connected ( obviously)

@Abdelrahman Rahmy, check for lose connections first (highly doubtful) then follow my original answer.

I had this fixed on my LG G2 at a Sprint repair facility. Cost was $75 (I do not have insurance, etc. on this phone) for a new touch screen. It works great now, hope to use it until upgrade time in November to get the LG G3. They did a top shelf job and were very helpful and friendly during the whole process. Took about 45 minutes from the time I walked in the door until I walked out - I was the first customer of the day, however.
