Why is my flash not flashing?
The flash never goes off when i'm taking pictures with my camera. The flash setting has been set to "Auto" or "On" but the flash is still not functioning.

The flash is actually an external component of the camera that is attached beneath the flap on the top of the camera. Your flash is most likely not attached properly. Check out our troubleshooting page for more information on how to attach the flash component (link below).
