Low gsm signal. Is it possible to solder the antenna?

I think my GSM socket connector is broken. My reception is always low or i have no signal. Is there an alternative point where i could solder the antenna directly on? I'm talking about this connector underneath the cable: https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig...

Losing one antenna should not cause very poor reception, check your top antenna connection.

I renewed the screws at the top and the reception seems a bit better. It is just enough for daily use but it's not like it used to be.
