I have a 17" ALS 2.0Ghz PCB 661-3627. The power supply is dead. The guy I bought it from said it sparked once? printed on the PCB is the warning to replace fuse with same type... but where is the fuse?

Yes. All power supplies will have a fuse of some sort.
The type used tends to vary, though. Most have glass fuses that are in place, while others may use diodes for protection or some other method. It depends on who made the power supply.

it is unnder the cover and has a white sticker

OK, I found it, I was looking for the traditional barrel shape, not a small black box - thanks for the help
For anybody still looking for it, it's very small. Smaller then a dime. There's a designation for it on the component side of the board. F1 is the designation. It is in the general area of the power connector, (where the power cord mates with the supply). Of course, you'll need to swing that connector up and out of the way. The fuse that came out of mine was tiny and, if the unusual shape wasn't enough to trip you up, they also put shrink tubing over it. I will try to add a photo of the fuse.
