How to remove U3_RF from iphone 4s logic board?
Is this whole ic or two layer like upper(black part) and lower(connectors 3x4)?

old question and answered for completion sake only. The IC is a one piece part. You would need a good soldering rework station to desolder it. Or cover the area around the IC with mylar tape and use a hot air station to remove it. Make sure that you have had practice on how to remove IC’s with hot air since it is not as easy as it sounds. If you do not have the tools or the experience, try to find a microsolder professional that can do the repair for you.
