Can I remove and reglue a lifted but still functioning screen?
I live on a remote Indonesian island with no mail delivery and no way to get this iPad repaired anywhere that is remotely close (6 plus hours of travel to a possible (not likely) repair location). We cannot get anything shipped here without a two hour trip to pick it. My dilemma is as follows: the iPad had a new screen put on one year ago at an aftermarket shop in the USA. I dropped it recently and the screen has lifted around the home button and halfway up the side. Everything works fine except the area where lifted obviously. Can I carefully life the screen without damaging where it attaches to the iPad, clean the adhesive and reglue the same screen? I know this isn't ideal but I don't have a lot of options where I am located….
