I bought an ipad 2 Wi fi to fix for a friend and I take it apart to find the digitizer connection is missing from the motherboard. I have done a lot of repairs but micro soldering is not one of them. Can anyone help me with this? Point me in the right direction to send it to? thanks!

Yeah that one is really easy to get into trouble with if you try to DIY it. We do a lot of board-level connector repair--click on my iFixit Pro link under my name to find your way to our mail-in repair webstore via the profile. There are many others on here who are also talented microsolderers, we are in the northeast.
