Backlight not working on retina display

I'm working on a macbook pro retina display that suffered a little liquid damage to the keyboard, the keyboard still works. however I get no backlight from the retina display. I've installed a new logic board, no display, I've installed a whole new display assembly as well. I get no display with the stock board and new board, and I would think with a new board and new screen, problem would be solved, but thats not the case, can anyone help me?

If you've replaced the logic board and the display are you certain the display is the correct one, and operative?

About the only thing left is the data display cable. Check the connector and cable for damage,

I replaced the retina display with a replacement one from the vendor that already sold me one, Its identical to the client's original retina display. I get video thru hdmi, still not on screen. I have a new logic board as well, identical to his original one. I get no video on screen from either board. What are the odds of two bad backlight fuses?
