Hello I am trying to locate the location of the cpu before i buy a better cpu. But i don't want to open up my computer just yet. Also if anyone could tell me if the processor attaches to the motherboard through a "slot" or is it "glued".

Matt, I believe that your CPU is soldered to the logic board and thus can not be simply changed.
