I got a HP laptop and I am not sure what kind i is. My hinges are loose and now my screen will not come up and I don't have the oney to get it fixed so any help you can give me would be heplful.

It should have a black sticker on bottom of unit correct?
If not are you able to locate the product &serial number?
You can get it from the bios or located on bottom of unit.
