Make sure your tablet is fully charged. If it is fully charged and unresponsive, it could be that the power button has become dislodged within the device and needs to be reset.

Can you provide any more information about the tab such as the brand and model?
Something you can try is to plug in the charger for about 15 to 20 minutes then hold the power button for 10-20 seconds. This simulates a battery pull and may resolve this issue.

i have a funtab 3 NS and it does the same thing
Pressing the power button for 10-20 seconds did the trick. Thanks so much!
It says charge for 6 hours for the first time and we did and it won't turn on at all

It turns on but powers down right after, even when the battery is fully charged.
