serial port damaged via 120 ac volts
i blew the serial port. is there any way i can repair or change it.

BILL WESTON, it might help if you tell us how did you do that. Use these guides and take a look at the logic board. It is possible that you have extensive damage will be impossible to fix. Or it is possible that you only destroyed a few components. Hard to say without seeing it. Add some images of your damage with your question.
