3 Moto x won't charge
Hi my moto x won't charge anymore you have to push my charger really in the usn port for it to work sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. It only works with one fourth of all my chargers

It sounds like the charging port is damaged and you would need to get it replaced with a new one. Unfortunately on this phone it is actually soldered to the motherboard so not that easy do.

You should however be able to find someone who can replace it for you and shouldn't be that expensive.

What exactly happened to the phone?
Just from general wear and tear the micro USB port can become damaged. Sometimes jiggling it around works as it will force the damaged part to make a connection.

Sometimes it could be dust & lint trapped inside the USB port. Enough dust & lint had accumulated in my phone once, and the connector wouldn't fully insert itself into the port. Also, my USB cable would fall out a lot easier. It was hard to tell that this was the reason as to why my phone wouldn't charge since it looked like the connector went in far enough, but in actuality it was sticking out enough to prevent it from making good contact. I used a skinny safety pin to clean out the dust and lint inside the USB port, and that seemed to do the trick.

a bit late in commenting, i have a problem similar, wherein my moto x gen2 doesnt charge even after keeping it overnight on the charger. the battery had fully drained out the day prior.
The screen remains black and the green led on top blinks once, when i switch on the charger. no vibration, no sound.
does anyone have a clue what component might be faulty that needs replacing?
