galaxy tablet - where is the model number?

i haven't use my samsung model # CE 0168 since last year because when we moved it was misplace, We found it when we were doing some storage cleaning but I forgot my password My friend use it last before it was stored away , but she has also pass on..

I charged it and it works but keeps asking for a password to use , my question is how do I change it so I can use it?

I have purchased a galaxy note used and want to reset it it's a model ceo168 it's a verizon and I have straight talk on my phone so can I use it or will I have to use WiFi

matthew, The CE marking means that it meets the requirements for sale in the European Union. the marking is similar to the FCC marking required for the United States. It is not your model number.

Best way to identify what device you have would be by trying to find the model number on the bottom center of the back panel, or post lots of images what your device looks like with your question. May be someone can identify it for you. Follow this guide for adding images to your question.

@oldturkey03, this does not apply to Samsung devices. You would need access to Android recovery, fastboot, Android OS, or the original box to find out model number. A Galaxy S8+ for example is generically defined on the back of the phone as SM-G55U or SM-G55F --- this doesn't tell if its AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, or Unlocked. It simply states this is a United States version of that Galaxy S8+ for "U", or International for "F".

@avanteguarde you are right. For this question it was just a matter of determining what model the phone is, not the carrier etc.
