Open tray still after trying to fix for 2 days

For at least 2 days now i've been trying to get fixes for my xbox with the open tray problem.

I've tried opening it and cleaning the lens,

using CleanDR's Lens Cleaner

multiple other ways to try and fix it (even the ones that include hitting it..)

and i'm out of ideas. I don't want to have to replace the lens or drive all together just yet.

I don't know if it helps but every time i try to play a disc it makes 2 loud noises when trying to read and then fails after 2-4 seconds.

My warranty is gone by the way.

Is there anything else I can do before I go searching for a new drive?

(I just tried 1 more time before giving up and it nearly started, started spinning but it failed shortly after)
