Why can’t I get internet access with a wired Ethernet cable?

When I try to connect to the internet using a wired Ethernet cable connection, the Amazon Fire TV will act as if there is no internet connection. What can I do to fix this problem?

I use the Amazon Cube 2nd Gen. When I connect ethernet Have to cut off Wi-Fi The problem that I have I cannot use my Amazon echo's Because when I cut off the Wi-Fi on Amazon cube It disable everything else So I have to use either or
