My iPad 2 Screen is Totally Glitched

I have a iPad 2 for school that is owned by the school and I had put it in my locker before a weekend trip. It was just fine when I left. I got back from the trip, took it out of my locker, put it into it's nice soft pocket in my backpack and went home. I was just at home and took it out to do some homework and it just flickered a green, blue fuzz and went black and now that is the only thing it does when I try to turn it on.

LCD flex is common on these iPads to go bad causing issues with the LCD. People try hitting the back of the iPad fairly hand against a softer surface such as a towel on a table or your hand. That is a temporary fix that might work. The repair for it is to actually replace the LCD cable but you may want to take it to a shop.
