The above camera (Canon Powershot A460) has a DC input option. i want to know what is the input Voltage required and the type of pin to be inserted into that slot( Number)? And can i use this camera as a webcam? if so how?

According to this link it is not possible to use the Canon Powershot A460 as a webcam. You may wish to search further. Digital cameras need a "remote shooting" capability to be used as a webcam, which the A460 does not have.
