LEN and MONITOR do not work
Sony Camera 5.1 Mega Pixels DSC-W1 MPEGMOVIE VX SMART ZOOM Len could not close after opening and the monitor turn white could not view object to be photoed.

Dominic Ching sounds like your lens is off its track or the motor that drives it has issues. Start by following some of these ideas to see if you can fix it. If that does not work consider replacing the lens

I have tried all these methods unfortunately none of them worked. Would some spare parts need replaced?
From what it sounds like, I'd replace the lens assembly.

Dominic Ching you changed the battery etc.? Sounds like a stuck lens. I'd definitely start with that.

Yes, I put a pair of batteries, the lens came out but could went back, only after several trial it went back, and when I tried to open the lens again, it could not come out easily. The monitor could not view any image when the lens was opened.
