device seems to have renamed itself after windows 10 update

device is saying it can't be found and or when it seems to work it says it is casting to a bastardized network name, after windows 10 latest update. worked fine before .. did mention no one likes windows 10..

Hi there,

With regard to your query, I suggest that you install the most recent driver for any external devices. This issue may happen if haven't installed appropriate driver for your device.

If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Right-click the name of the device, and select Uninstall.
  3. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

To keep the security of your data, I suggest you make backup with MiniTool ShadowMaker or Windows built-in backup utility.
