It won't turn on
My router won't turn on. None of the lights work. I don't know if I just need to get a new one or if something broke.

Most Routers when they are plugged into power will run a self test and at least lit up all the lites at least once. So if your router doesn't do that after power is applied either you have the wrong power applied( some have power adapters that give the unit stepped down power like 12 VDC or 6 VDC and some take 110-220 VAC directly just look at the unit it should have the power input listed ), or it is broke.
