How does the engine charge the battery?
I have a 24hp B&S intek v-twin that stopped charging the battery. Of course there is no alternator, so what do i look for?

hillmankidcare are you sure "there is no alternator"? ;-) As a matter of fact there is. You may just not recognize it. You are looking for something like this
under the flywheel. Here is the Intek V-Twin alternator manual Briggs-&-Stratton-Intek-V-Twin-repair-ma.pdf. It'll take to long to go over all of this on here.
This would be a typical way of how it charges
and this is specifically to your engine
