I turned my 12 year old phone off before I went to bed and I can't get it back on. It is stuck in a start up loop. Is there anything I can do? I don't want a new phone since I am very hard on them and it is small enough to keep in any pocket.

@shannon51454 I'd start with a soft reset by removing the battery from back of the device. Then put the battery back after a couple seconds. Press the Power button, wait for device to turn on. Let us know what you get.

Thank you but nope. It doesn't work. I tried removing battery, reinstalling it and turning it on several times. I just get the Verizon logo for about two seconds then black then repeat again and again indefinitely.
@shannon51454 how old is your battery. Have you ever repalced it? What you describe in your comment cvould be a battery issue.
The battery is brand and held it's last charge before it got stuck in the loop for 10 and a half days with light use.
Brand new that is
