Why do warning lights stay on when engine is running

Norman, see the attached links for various warning lights and why they may be on. In some makes a lot of warning lights may come on and stay on when battery is faulty or charging system fault if both are tested and found to be good, you will have to have a good technician have a look, diagnose and estimate repair.
