Why will the A button not work when I press it?
I press the A button in a game that uses it and it will not work. How can I fix this?

It's possible that there is something lodged beneath the button that is causing these problems. Opening up the controller and cleaning beneath the problematic button may solve this issue.

The button was dirty underneath so I removed it, cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and repaired it.
