black streaks on the screen
whats causing the black streaks on the screen and what can i do about it ?

Hi,
If the pictures that you take are OK then most probably you have a faulty LCD screen. LCD screens cannot be repaired, they need to be replaced.
Here is a link to a video which shows how to replace the screen. It is in German but it is self explanatory as to what you have to do.

The LCD screen is available on Ebay. Here is a link to just one supplier to give you an idea of the cost . There are others.

Hi @framo ,
If you are getting black lines in the pictures that you have taken and downloaded to a computer as well as on the camera’s LCD screen, then it seems that there may be a problem with the camera’s CCD image sensor.
I cannot find a video online that shows how to replace the sensor, you may have better luck. You could always use the video in the answer above to get part of the way into the camera and hopefully work out how to remove and replace the sensor from there.
Replacement sensors are available online. Here’s a link to a supplier. It is shown just to give an idea of the cost of the part. There are other suppliers who may suit you better. Just search for Samsung S630 CCD sensor part to get results.

Hello! I have black streaks in photo file also, there is something to do, or simply I have to buy another camera?
