How to hard format?

I have a IPad i didn't remember the password. So please help in hardformating my ipad.

Plug in your iPad to your computer (that has iTunes installed). Hold the Home button and the Power button for about 10 seconds. You will see the Apple log...keep holding the buttons until the iPad asks you to connect to iTunes.
From iTunes, you will be able to restore the device. You will lose all of your data.
