How do I change the display and LCD screen myself?

Just follow the teardown instructions on here :) Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini E10i Should work for getting to your screen. Of course if I would have warranty or insurance on it, I would send it in.

I figured that the teardown gives a good start at what is involved and it does show how it all can get disconnected.
