Why does my laptop screen blink different colour a few mins after boot
my hp 6530b blinks different colours when it is on and it goes on like that until a restart then starts again after a few minutes

Hi,
Try connecting an external monitor and check its' display to see if it is the same or stays OK.
Start the laptop in 'safe mode' and see if the screen is OK or behaves the same way.
What OS is installed in the laptop?
