Replacing the LCD on the iPhone 7 plus and the screen comes on but no touch I'd or respond to the home button.
I've disassembled it a few times and put it back together but i cant find the fault.
Any one have any ideas?

The touch id button is connected over the 3d touch cable to the logicboard. This cable is very thin and fragile. You need to check this cable. It´s behind the metal backplate. You check out this iPhone 7 home button not working after screen replacement
Check my comment and you will see what I mean. To repair this you need to replace the 3D Touch.

Check the contact when flipping the screen back down, those two contact circles need to make a proper connection once the screen is put back on, there are two leaf clips that can be damaged opening the phone.

The Home button will not work when you replace a new screen even you use the old Home button, the iPhone 7 is different from other iPhones.
