No Power After Digitizer Replacement

So I have replaced the digitizer on a iPad mini 3 and now there is no power, or sound. I plug it into my computer and nothing. It worked before I replaced the digitizer and now nothing. I have tried to replace the lcd, and replaced the digitizer with another one as well and still nothing.

What could be causing this problem

Did you unplug the battery? And if you did, did you use metal or plastic tools?

Yes and I used my hand to do so no tool

Well did you unplug the battery first before unplugging the LCD cable? This is the crucial question to determining if the backlight filter may be blown on the logic board.

Have you opened up iTunes (Download it from apple website if not installed first) on computer and check for response?

yes and iTunes will not detect it at all and the iPad makes no sound at all

I have an iPad pro that is doing the same thing

Ok I was able to get the iPad Pro to power back on but not the iPad mini I plugged it into my computer with 3 different cords with no change, I even tried to put it into DFU mode with no changes. What could have been damaged to cause this

If you have two iPads that are not detected by iTunes, then perhaps your problem is with the Lightning cable or your computer.

I would reboot the computer and if that doesn't work, then try a different (preferably genuine Apple or known-good) Lightning cable.

the cable works for other devices just not these 2 anymore

Still try a different cable

I have tried 3 different cables with same results

Have you tried rebooting the computer?

If that doesn't work, then you may have damaged something on the logic board.
