The side brush isn't working anymore. I've replaced the entire side brush unit and it will do a .25 revolution once it starts cleaning then the side brush will not work. I've striped it down and cleaned everything that could be cleaned. I am At a loss here no idea what's up and I-robot told me to buy a new one when I called the help line.

@bobo006, Ben, If you have already replaced the side brush motor and still not working, check the wires and connector for being, loose/damaged/corroded/check the connector with DVOM to ensure power is getting to the motor and make necessary repairs if defect found. If motor has not been replaced perhaps consider replacing motor. 1st link below is a guide to replacing side brush motor and 2nd link will get you inside to inspect the mother board for loose/damaged/burnt components. My roomba side brush remains on. This happened after my roomba got wet. What can I do?
Be sure the central screw on the brush is not too tight. Even though you can turn it with your fingers Roomba will detect a TANGLE if its too tight and shut it down.
