How do I check if my hard drive cable is not working properly? Also how to check if my hard drive is working properly?

Unless you have physically damaged the hard drive cable, this model is not know for having issues. It does, however uses a ZIF drive that can be hard to locate. Please describe the issues you are having and maybe we can help yo to diagnose it.
