dvd player won't play
The power light is on....a dvd is in the slot...but it won't play. I don't know what channel the tv should be on either..please help

1. Try cleaning the DVD drive lens with a lens cleaning disc.
2. The DVD is damaged or otherwise protected, try another disc or play the DVD on another good player.
3. Replace the optical drive.
4. Go to the settings on your player and update the software.
5. Decrypt the DVD or repair it.

Kathy -- How do you know it is not playing? The TV set should have a menu for input selection. There may be 3 or 4 choices; try each one if necessary. What brand/model is TV?
