1 My camera won't power on
My Canon PowerShot SX540 HS 20.3MP won't power on; is there a way to troubleshoot this problem? Can it be diagnosed without power? Thanks, Jim

Same problem as above. New batteries, replace small cr1220 batter. took out SD card, will turn on for 3-5 secs then turn off, like dying instantly. Any one have in idea whats wrong here, its been stored in a drawer so no water damage and has not been dropped. Thoughts?

I’m having the same problem. It hasn’t been a month since I bought my camera and I hadn’t even used it yet. I’m starting to think the battery is fake. Did you find a solution?
