ipad mini 4 changed battery and still wont charge when plugged in?

i have an ipad mini 4 that was having trouble turning on and was not charging, so i replaced the battery with a new one from ifixit and just installed it. ipad is working fine but will not charge it is staying at 18% for the last 30 min of charging. i have tried multipul different oulets, cables, bricks, ect. but nothing changes. it seems like it is not getting enough juice to charge, but just enough to keep it on.

Based on your comments and troubleshooting, it appears the charging circuit is damaged. Unfortunately, there are no published schematics for this device (boardviews are just starting to come out but the are not complete).

Still, an experienced micro-solderer may be able to find and fix the problem. If you can't find one locally, then consider mail-in repair. There are several reputable micro-solderers patrolling this forum.
