How do I bypass activation lock?

i had my cousins iPad unlocked from the store he forgot his screen pass code now it comes up with my step mum apple id which she gave it to him she don't know her apple id how do i get around this because she don't remember the password to the email address she used with her apple id either. please help. also i know that it is a ipad air but not sure if it is a ipad air 1 or ipad air 2

There is no way to circumvent Apple Activation Lock, also know as iCloud Lock. If your step-mom has a proof of purchase, you can go to an Apple Store and Apple should unlock it. If she can't prove that she is the owner, then there is really nothing you can do.
