I phone wont turn on.Error 23 after battery drained!

my iphone had turned off cause battery drain.i used with 2% battery..i couldnt charge it so iphone turned off..all worked perfectly until this.i come back home and i try to charge it..but nothing happen.only the apple logo apair and then go off again after 1-2 minutes.i try to restore but i got Error 23..so i buy new battery and i try to change it.all went good i close my iphone but it didnt open after all!i try mulriple times to restore but all times error 23.i try diferenct ways..also i tryied reinstall from redsnow with and without jailbreak but nothing happen i have try all ways you can imagine..and i dont know what to do now..please some help!..

i tryied restore from 1year ago back up...but still error 23...

Iphone is dead right?? ram failure? :(

yep... you've got a brick, have a search for iphone repairs and see if you can find someone who lists this error on their list.. one site in london,uk does... you might find something in the U.S.

This is one problem that so far I haven't found any solutions to . It's a "communication/radio". Error- whether this means your baseband is corrupt etc is the main argument. Try the earliest backup you have, I have had no joy with redsnow/blackrain etc. Try ultrasnow etc if it's compatible but Idont think it'll make a difference. I found one uk site that reportedly had fixed the problem (£50) but just never got round to it. As far as I can find there are no burned out parts on my board... It's corrupt software/chip//flash??

Ultimately it's a brick!

discoboy, I would never go against the advise of my esteemed colleagues and ultimately I also believe that this is a Brick. However, since there are shops out that say they can fix it, I thought I post these images that were emailed to me and are said to fix the error 23. If you should get to it, try restoring with the stock firmware first. At this point I do not think you have anything to lose and that you can try to fix it. Hope it works for you. good Luck

Thanks turkey...have just given up on mine with the error 23... Sold it on eBay! Got rid of a few boards with other issues I just don't have time to fix, couldve bodged a working phone out of them! Timing.... Oh well...

this error 23 happens when your phone does a reboot even when jailbreaking I am gonna try another battery ,as I have a theory in my head that it is trying to register the battery but there is a fault with the components,a bit like psp battery

Update

I had error 29 on 3gs

this is due to the battery being faulty

Buy a new one.

Bought mine for 3 quid and gonna stick it in 3g

that is the battery model number that fixed error 29

It sought of falls into the error 20s category and may be worth a shot
