I have forgotten my password and as a result I am unable to reach my settings. I have not performed a back up and I have holiday photos on my phone I would like to keep. I have tried to perform a factory reset but I have been unsuccessful. What should I do?

@preheat If you preform a factory reset you will loose your photos the only way in is to keep trying to get your password right . If you get locked out after to may failed attempts then go here then instead of factory reset in step 4 select wipe cache partition. do that and you will get a new round of password attempts . If you made the password you will eventually get it . Hope this helps

yeah i concur... but assuming he cant remember his password how much choice does he have? he can keep trying though until he gets the correct password. And hopefully if he has to reset the device, he has a back up for his files.
