Power, volume and mute not working after flex change

I changed the screen and digitiser, in doing this tore both the wifi and the power button ribbon.

I bought 2 power button ribbons from the US but neither of them work. Is there something I might be missing?

Small parts tend to have lower quality levels and it's not uncommon to receive bad parts. Did the replacement part look new or did it look like it was pulled from a device? Either way, that's a distinct possibility.

I would also check the connector the flex plugs into. Depending on how you damaged the flex, you may have pulled on the connector and damaged one of the solder connections. Use this guide, if you haven't already.

The parts I bought were brand new, I tore the ribbon on the original one and had removed it properly. I've bought another one so hopefully that does the trick.
