My remote works sometimes

Okay so I’ve had this TV for about a year now and it was working perfectly fine up until last month. The TV works perfectly but it won’t respond to the remote. The only thing I can do it turn my tv on, and sometimes I can’t turn it off, I’d have to turn it off manually. I’ve done research and I did what I was told. And nothing worked... my remote recently just started working again for like a week and now it’s back acting retarded.. I need answers ASAP

have you tried changing the batterys?

Have you solved this? My remote has been on the fritz this last week and I’ve changed the batteries and reset my tv with no solution

Torian Terry I am sure that by now you have this fixed already. So this is just for completion sake. I would start off with a new remote since this could be remote related. If that does not fix it then you are looking at having to replace the IR board on your TV. Since we do not know the model etc. we cannot provide you with part numbers etc.
