We have a Kenmore Dishwasher that will not drain either during the wash cycle or after the wash cycle. I lifted the hose that goes from the dishwasher through a hole in the cabinet into the disposal and the water emptied immediately. I just can't keep on doing this every time I wash dishes so can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

Depending on the plumbing code for where you live there are 4 methods to connect the dishwasher drain hose to ensure that the dishwasher drains correctly. You will notice that all of them show that the drain hose loops higher than where it enters the drain or disposal unit.
