Lights flashing like a strobe light in freezer and fridge.
I have a WRS342FIAW00 Whirlpool and the interior lights flash like a strobe light when the door is opened? Has anyone else had this problem?

This module is cheaper and easy to install, it took me 2 minutes.

Maybe try adding a bit of diode electric grease to the light connections. Should prevent any further problems of moisture getting in the contacts. Grease can be bought in small amount packs at any local auto parts store. Ask for bulb grease.

Had/have the same issue. Followed advice from:
Whirlpool Refrigerator Interior Lights Flickering
and the solution to remove and fix the wires worked temporarily. Finally broke down and bought new light assembly. After 35 days, the problem has begun again. Very frustrated and don’t know what to do.

Someone commented "Unplug the fridge then plug it back in". I did that a voala, problem solved.

Nope turning it off and on didn’t fix it. Does anyone know where the switch is? Hinge or a magnet somewhere? Thanks.

When I cleaned out my fridge I took all the food out and turned it off. (I almost passed out from the strobing.) After it warmed up it stopped strobing. I figured it would start again once it cooled off but it's been a week and hasn't acted up.
