My ZTE Max xl stopped charging. I've tried using different extension cords, changing wall plug outlets, changing USBcable, changing USB adapter for wall plug, taking out sim card, putting a pin in the small hole beside the sim card slot, tapping phone in palm of hand, tapping phone on hard floor, wiggling USB cable where it plugs into phone, rebooting the phone, shutting down the phone. NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!! HELP??????

Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to check the USB charge port enclosure to see if all the pins (5) are there. Ensure that they are straight and parallel with each other.
Also check that there is no lint or debris lodged in the port which may prevent a good connection.
If there is, use a vacuum cleaner to try and remove the obstruction.
DO NOT use a metal pin or probe to try and clear it. You may damage the pins.
If you have to, use a wooden toothpick to gently clear any obstruction that is proving too difficult to remove with the vacuum cleaner.
