HI @mosedc ,
Here is a link to the ifixit Nextbook NXA8QC116B Display Assembly Replacement guide.
Looking at the picture in Step.31 of the guide it appears that the panel is held into the frame by brackets, screwed into the frame.
Here is an image taken from the guide

well I was referring to the screen not the lcd but thanks for the help @jayeff
Hi @mosedc ,
To me screen means LCD screen not touchscreen or digitizer,
Looking at the image for the digitizer it appears that it is part of the frame and not a separate piece from it. So possibly by removing the LCD screen you'll have access to the frame assembly (including digitizer) as it is all that is left upon dismantling.
