How do I find out what cooling fans are in my MacBook?

I am currently using a Macbook 13.3" Late 2008 (regular, not pro). Recently I noticed that my laptop was overheating, so I took my computer to the Apple Store. After a hardware test, they told me that my cooling fans were no longer working, but because my laptop is so old, they did not have the hardware in stock to replace it. They suggested that I go to Micro Center, which holds on to Apple supplies longer than they do. I did that, but they too informed me that they no longer have the fans that I need either, but that if I were to find them online, they would install them for me.

The problem is that I don't know what fans to look for. The man at Micro Center informed me that I need to find the fans for my exact model, since they are apparently different for every Macbook. However, after looking through the System Information app and some more extensive online searches I was unable to find anything that would tell me exactly what type of fans I need. If anyone knows specifically what fans I need to purchase or how to find out what I need, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

First go to Everymac and enter your serial number. Then tell us exactly which machine you have.
