My rear camera option is not showing

Try starting the phone in safe mode and check if you can access the rear camera.

If you can access the rear camera in safe mode then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. You’ll need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one, and test if you can access the camera between each uninstall. When you can access the rear camera, the last downloaded app that you uninstalled will be the culprit.

If you cannot access the rear camera in safe mode try resetting the phone using the phone’s factory restore feature.

Backup the phone, using the phone’s backup feature before you perform a factory restore.

Be aware that a factory restore will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its’ factory default (or last system updated) condition. That’s why its important to backup the phone first.

Once you have backed up the phone, perform the factory restore.

Once the phone has been restored (reset), check if you can access the rear camera OK.

If you still can’t access the camera then there is a hardware fault.

If you can access the rear camera, restore the phone with the backup that you made earlier, using the phone’s restore feature.

Once the phone has been restored, check if you can still access the rear camera.

If you can then the reset has resolved the problem
