Anyone solved the new iOS iPhone Cellular Update Failed issue?
Has anyone found a solution to the current iOS update failure of Cellular update failed? Apple acknowledges the problem on their support page, but offers no resolution other than to contact apple support. It specifically states to not attempt a restore or a reset , which is the go to for a majority of issues, because this will result in being unable to activate the device.

Working for a repair center, we already have the annoyance of iPhone 7 acknowledged failures. This just adds to the headache of the newer models, with the latest update in software. Replacement of service antennas and reflows have been attempted, but with no repaired results. I am wondering if this update has triggered a board level failure. Perhaps another update will resolve the issue, but anything anyone has discovered to correct the problem, as is, at this time would be helpful.

I've had this problem on a number of customers iphones. I'm of the mind that apple is (hopefully) coming up with another bug fix update for this issue.

I’ve done a soft reset (power button and volume down) and after a couple attempts it seems to start working again. However a couple days later it failed again.

I contacted Apple Support and they acknowledged this is a know issue with iPhone 7's. My phone is 2 years 2 months old, they told me this problem was warrantied for three years. Apple Store took my phone to have it shipped for repair. In the meantime, they gave me a loaner 16GB iPhone 6 (ugh!). But the bright side is that I will not have to pay for the repair or replacement if needed.
