My dishwasher has water standing in the bottom.

I have checked the drain, there is no garbage disposal. I have checked the drain line and it is clear. I have cleaned all the filters. Replaced the drain pump and turbidity sensor but still water in the bottom. What am I missing? It’s a whirlpool WDF530PLYW7 model

Hi @jbailey1978 ,

Place the drain hose into a bucket and run a cycle to check the drain flow pressure.

Also is the drain hose looped up above the main drain pipe connection?

How much pressure should there be? And the drain line is looped

Hi @jbailey1978 ,

Can't give a figure on the actual pressure that should be there. Just so that it appears to come out with some flow to it and not that is seems to be sluggish or impeded

Almost no pressure. Barely dripping when it’s set to drain.

So far no solution. It’s not a new installation but it is a new problem.

Hi @jbailey1978 ,

Check that the sump inlet is not blocked.

Here’s the link that shows where it is located. Item #1 in the Pump, Washarm and Motor parts diagram link

Checked that now. I can’t find any blockage.

Hi @jbailey1978 ,

Can you hear or "feel" (place hand on dishwasher cabinet) that the drain pump is actually operating when it is supposed to, or use a Voltmeter to check if power is being supplied to it when it should? (be safety aware if you try this as lethal Voltages are involved)

Check this link out about a Dishwasher High Drain Loop causing syphoning, since you don’t have it hooked up to a disposal, it may not be vented correctly:
