Are these two points surposed to be connected?
Long story short, no. Im referring to the blob of solder under the left wire of the AC power cord. That blob has both the AC cord and the fuse lead in it. I believe this is the reason my PS4 stoped working. I woke up to it this morning trying to turn it on but it didn’t. I opened it up to see what looked liked a few mutated crickets in it. I cleaned the system out and saw this on the power supply. I also believe it blew the fuse but i’m not sure cause i’m sure the blob is messing with my continuity test. Any help is great, Thanks.

Hi,
Can't make it out too well, but if the two connections are on the same track on the board then it has always been there and you problem is further in.
Also blobs don't just appear. If there is enough heat to melt solder being generated by the current flow, then normally the fuse will blow long before this occurs and if not you will see evidence of heat stressed components or burn marks as well.
With the power removed, you may have to do point to point and isolation testing with an Ohmmeter to find out why the fuse has blown or keeps blowing.
